Building with Plastics Tutorial

How to make durable plastic balls fit for playing games with or using as furniture. This technique could also be applied to building and insulating structures.

The Insides
Stuff plastic waste, including containers, bottles, bags, bailing twine and whatever else you can't find a use for, into a large garbage bags and tie off.

Connecting Parts
If you want to connect plastic balls etc, you can use a heat gun to melt a small part of both balls where you want to attach them, then press them together until they cool.

Finishing
Close up the slits by laying a plastic bag over the hole and ironing it on.
Padding the Ball
Now cut slits throughout the ball and stuff plastic bags under the skin to fill out and pad the ball.

Making the Skin
Iron plastic layer on the trash bag ball, creating a skin of plastic bag all around the ball.

Ironing Plastic
Lay out a layer of LDPE plastic bags (newspaper bags, freezer bags, garbage bags, bread sacks, any bags labeled #4). Lay a thin piece of cotton (old sheet) over the bags and iron on high heat. Once plastic has fused and cooled, remove sheet and lay your fused plastic bags on the trash bag ball.
